With the aim of improving quality of life and easing part of the financial burden, on June 4th, 2025, WildAct – on behalf of Chu Yang Sin National Park and the Quy Dong Long– contributed 20 million VND to the Community Fund of Hamlet 10, Khue Ngoc Dien Commune.
This donation, combined with funds mobilized by local residents, has created meaningful opportunities for 06 households:
- 5 families received loans to purchase cattle and develop agricultural livelihoods.
- 1 family received financial support for their child’s school tuition.
This initiative is more than just financial assistance – it’s a stepping stone for communities to escape poverty and build long-term, self-reliant livelihoods. The Community Fund, established and managed by the villagers themselves, empowers people to take charge of their future, reduce reliance on forest resources, and contribute actively to biodiversity conservation.
Importantly, all households receiving loans committed not to refrain from deforestation, forest encroachment, hunting, or consuming wildlife and wildlife-derived products.
Though small, this step marks a meaningful shift – opening the door to a brighter future for households, especially for children living in the buffer zones of Chư Yang Sin National Park.
WildAct calls on individuals and communities to join hands in expanding the Community Fund – creating better living opportunities for people, while preserving Vietnam’s forests and natural heritage.
