VIAs the world faces a biodiversity crisis and the escalating impacts of climate change, investing in the next generation – those who will carry the future of our planet – has become more urgent than ever.
With that vision in mind, the Student Conference on Nature Conservation (SCNC) has been organized annually by WildAct since 2022. The conference aims to create an academic platform that connects students and young researchers with professionals, businesses, and organizations in the fields of conservation and sustainable development.
In 2025, SCNC will officially enter its fourth season and will take place in Ho Chi Minh City this October. More than just a platform for presenting research, the conference is a journey of capacity building, meaningful networking, and inspiring action for nature.

🎓 22% of participants pursued graduate studies or became researchers in conservation or environmental fields
💼 30% of participants found jobs and/or advanced in their careers thanks to the skills and opportunities gained through SCNC
👩🔬 58% of participants are women, with over 80% of the organizing team being young women, promoting the participation of women in STEM
