We’re delighted to share that our article on community-based migratory bird conservation in the Red River Delta Biosphere has been published in BirdingAsia!
The piece highlights how WildAct works alongside local women’s groups, schools, rangers, and even Catholic churches—where priests have begun incorporating conservation messages into Sunday sermons.
We believe that when local communities are empowered, conservation is no longer just a specialist’s job—it becomes everyone’s responsibility and pride.
From removing over 1,000 bird traps and rescuing hundreds of individuals, to children becoming bird ambassadors in their own villages—this work is helping bring birdsong back to places once silenced.
A huge thank you to BirdingAsia for sharing our story, and to all the local people, students, clergy, and rangers who are making conservation possible—one step at a time.
