Following the activities of the project “Strengthening law enforcement and raising public awareness to protect spoon-billed sandpipers and migratory birds in the Red River Delta Biosphere Reserve”, the painting competition with the theme “Protecting Migratory birds and wetlands” was held at 06 schools in three provinces of Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh and Thai Binh. Participating schools include Hoanh Son Secondary School (Nam Dinh), Yen Thang Secondary School, Yen Dong Secondary School (Ninh Binh), Nam Thinh Secondary School, 14-10 Secondary School, Thuy Xuan Secondary School (Thai Binh).

The competition attracted enthusiastic participation from more than 60 entries from students of the schools, including individuals and groups. The works demonstrate creative talent and convey important messages about protecting migratory birds, stopping illegal hunting and consumption of birds, and emphasizing the importance of protecting wetlands, which are home to these birds. The contest also contributes to raising public awareness about the conservation of migratory birds and their habitats.

After the scoring and voting process, 06 individuals and groups of students have excellently received awards from WildAct thanks to their impressive work. These works are nice in form and have deep humanistic values, showing care and respect for nature, especially migratory birds.

At the same time, the contest also contributes to raising awareness among students and local communities. These are important steps in promoting awareness of protecting nature and wildlife in general, contributing to building a sustainable living environment for future generations.
