WildAct Vietnam is a non-profit organization focused on wildlife conservation in Vietnam, established in 2015. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and engage communities and individuals in direct conservation actions for endangered species and habitats, based on scientific evidence.

The Awareness Raising & Education (ARE) Project Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s community awareness and education activities to ensure the sustainable operation and development of WildAct, with the mission of conserving endangered wildlife species and habitats in Vietnam.
Location: Hanoi, with travel to project areas as required.
Salary: 15 million - 20 million VND NET, depending on skills and experience.

Social insurance (BHXH) and personal income tax based on 100% salary received, along with an annual health check-up;
Early finish (3:30 PM) every Friday, with a 38-hour work week;
Female employees are entitled to one day of remote work (WFH) per month;
20 days of annual leave.
I. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AWARENESS RAISING & EDUCATION PROJECT MANAGER
Project Management (70%)
Manage the activities and resources of the Schools & Communities team at WildAct, including:
Planning and executing projects and campaigns on a yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis, with post-project reports;
Regularly reporting project progress to the Deputy Director;
Ensuring high-quality completion of projects, from planning to execution, reporting, communication content and images, and payment processes;
Monitoring, evaluating, and approving the quality of outputs such as project reports, media articles, awareness products, and sociological survey designs;
Reviewing and approving initial budget estimates and expenditure reports, ensuring compliance with agreements with donors, the governing agency, and legal regulations;
Managing organizational tools, particularly electronic devices for education and awareness activities;
Preparing progress and financial reports (in English and Vietnamese) for donors and relevant regulatory bodies;
Collecting, filing, and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of payment invoices for project activities;
Managing personnel, data, and budgets for projects;
Directly managing and assigning tasks to team members, ensuring that the work is completed on time;
Coordinating effectively with other teams within the organization, partners, and service providers to successfully complete projects.
Team Capacity Development (20%)
In addition to managing projects, the Awareness Raising & Education Project Manager is responsible for team capacity building, ensuring that ARE team members always have opportunities for skill development and personal growth in a positive working environment:
Organizing periodic training and capacity-building sessions for the team and the entire organization;
Observing, providing feedback, and offering suggestions to improve the team’s performance.
Other Duties (10%)
Partner engagement: effectively connecting with local partners during project implementation to ensure that partnerships are built and maintained positively, reflecting WildAct’s professional image;
Collaborating with the Director, Deputy Director, HR, and other team members to create a harmonious, inspiring, and growth-oriented working environment;
Supporting other teams in creating content and ideas related to project expertise;
Other tasks as assigned by the Director and Deputy Director.
II. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields (e.g., communications, education, forestry, resource management, biodiversity, etc.);
Strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in both Vietnamese and English;
Proficiency in office software and internet use;
At least 3 years of experience in team management and supervision;
Good health and willingness to travel;
Experience working in a similar position in an NGO is an advantage;
A track record of published reports is an advantage;
A track record of designing educational and communication products (content and/or graphic design) is an advantage.
